Safety in Numbers
“Safety in Numbers” is a Cinematic musical journey into the wind swept deserts of imaginary Spaghetti Western films fused with elements of classic rock and psychedelic mysticism. A kaleidoscopic fever dream painted with orchestral strings, stirring soulful gospel inspired vocals punctuated by searing fuzz guitar melodies. The title Safety in Numbers wrestles with the conflicts of love, independence, heartbreak and hope in an epic cinematic setting while still yearing hopefully for soul reconnection in a sometimes seemingly disrupted and isolated world.

Houston
“Houston” is a song that lives in a fictional fantasy world of NASA rockets, psychedelia and a love affair in the Cold War space race of 1960s Houston. The pivotal relationship in the song is between a young woman and an astronaut acting as a metaphorical view of relationships with emotionally unavailable partners. She also asks the question in the chorus of ’what if the shoe was on the other foot?’ to her literally outer space lover. The song has a slightly unusual structure that includes a longer outro that tries to literally take the listener into an outer space odyssey of the imagination.”
